Who we are

What data is collected

Clairsmith does not ask you for any personal information: the site has no user accounts, no sign-up and no contact form.

Tools. The day rate calculator and the invoice generator run in your browser: what you enter is not sent to Clairsmith. If you choose to save your seller details in the invoice generator, they are stored only in your browser (local storage) and never leave your device. You can erase them at any time with the dedicated button.

Factur-X generation. The file you get with “Download as Factur-X” is also built in your browser: the invoice details are sent neither to Clairsmith nor to any other server.

Audience measurement. To understand how the site is used, Clairsmith uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, the audience-measurement tool provided by its host. It produces aggregated, anonymous statistics: pages viewed, referring site, country, device and browser type, and page-load performance. According to Cloudflare, this tool sets no cookies, uses no browser storage and does not attempt to identify you individually, including by “fingerprinting” your IP address or browser. Page addresses are recorded without their query strings. Purpose: measuring traffic and improving the site. Legal basis: the publisher's legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cookies

The site sets no cookies, whether for audience measurement, advertising or tracking. No consent banner is therefore shown.

Hosting and security

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which may process technical data strictly necessary to deliver pages (IP address, HTTP requests) as part of its hosting and attack-protection activity. See Cloudflare's privacy policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/

Your rights

Clairsmith holds no data that identifies you. You nevertheless have the rights provided under the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, portability), which you can exercise at the contact address given above, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL, www.cnil.fr).

Changes to this policy

This page will be updated whenever the site changes in a way that involves processing personal data (newsletter, a GDPR-friendly analytics tool under consideration, a user account for the future micro-SaaS). The last-updated date appears at the top of the page.
